Gallery Visit: Abram Games and Restless Times.

On Monday 18th October we went on a trip to Sheffield to visit a gallery of Abram Games and another exhibition on 'Restless Times'
I fount the work created by Abram Games memorable as they were brightly coloured and many of the images were very bright and bold.
What i enjoyed about the exhibit was the fact we saw a lot of his finished pieces, yet his 'development' work was displayed which made us realise how much he changed his work when it came to looking at the final piece he had created.
Abram Games was the official artist of the festival of Britain and a popular war time artist. Comparing this exhibition to the previous restless times gallery, i felt this appealed to me more as it was a lot brighter and the way Abram Games had created his work was eye catching and made you look twice. Where as in the Restless times gallery the work was of a very high standard but many pieces were of a dark mood and most images were mainly monochromatic.
